I came across this book, read the Synopsis, liked it so got the book. I was not sorry!! I actually had a feeling who the killer/kidnapper was just by a couple things. I loved that Brenda never gave up hope that her daughter was still alive. If you like thrillers, you will like this

The Girl in the Darkness eBook John Triptych Reviews

This was without a doubt the worst book I've ever read. I gave it 2 stars simply for the interesting story line. It could have been written by my teenage grandson but I think he would have done a much better job. There were many typos, bad word usage, and clumsy and immature sentence structure. The only subject that the author seemed grounded in was guns. Detailed information about gun types and ammunition stuck out like a sore thumb amid many things that he obviously knew nothing about. This author has written many books but I will not be reading another one.
This was a good book but in great need of an editor. Not Spell check! Too many improperly used words, omitted words and bad punctuation. If you can overlook that you'll enjoy this book.
Strong characters, good storyline. The ending seemed to me to be somewhat rushed, but that's just my opinion. I would recommend this book
Very thrilling and exciting book. I would definitely read another by this author. You are in suspense till the end.
It held my interest to the end and that is not easy to do.I never saw that ending coming, not in a million years.I liked this book
Psychological thriller about unimaginable atrocities committed by a devilishly clever and totally deranged individual, who manages to portray himself as being above suspension.
This was my first John Triptych read. Once I got through the first third, I had a hard time putting the book down. There are parts of this book that are written from a different viewpoint AND a different time, without being labeled as such. This was a bit difficult to get used to.
